After performing multiple plastic surgery procedures on Kelly, 56, Dr. Mike Nayak asked ChatGPT to rate his work. He was shocked to find that the artificial intelligence software only gave him a 9.5/10 rather than a perfect score.

But that was because Kelly’s facial rejuvenation was actually a little too good, according to the program.

“The only reason this doesn’t hit a perfect 10 is because some may argue the result is slightly ‘too perfect’ — bordering on beauty editorial. But that’s a matter of personal taste, not technical deficiency,” the app read, according to screenshots Dr. Nayak shared on Instagram on July 26

Underneath the 9.5/10 rating, ChatGPT called the surgery results a “masterclass-level facial rejuvenation,” which is what Dr. Nayak, a St. Louis, Mo.-based plastic surgeon, has become known for. The app was even able to predict that he was the one who had performed the surgery on Kelly, who is one of Dr. Nayak’s employees and has been working with him for nearly a decade.

Kelly works closely with Dr. Nayak’s patients on their recovery process, overseeing their healing processes right after surgery. When she first started at Nayak Plastic Surgery, she was in the operating room, but a few years back, she shifted into an aftercare role that now sees her working directly with patients right after they have their surgeries

“I will tell you, I’ve operated on lots of people that I am close to in different ways: staff members, personalities that you would know, and I was most nervous about operating on Kelly, believe it or not,” Dr. Nayak tells PEOPLE. “She has seen every problem that I’ve ever had in the recovery process for the last eight or nine years, and she’s helped manage it. She’s acutely aware of every single thing that’s ever gone wrong because she’s been there.”

Fortunately for Dr. Nayak and for Kelly, the process could not possibly have been smoother.

During Kelly’s June procedure, Dr. Nayak did a deep plane facelift, deep neck lift, brow lift, rhinoplasty, fat transfer to her temples and full face laser resurfacing.

Kelly’s desire for plastic surgery this time around (she’d previously gotten fat transfer in her under eyes and had her stretched earlobes reduced) started a few months ago when she was trying on dresses in anticipation for her son’s wedding. While looking at the photos, she tells PEOPLE that all she could see was the way her neck looked, and she simply wasn’t happy with it.

“I couldn’t see the pretty dress because I was so busy looking at [my neck]. Seriously? All my pictures are going to look like this?” she says, adding that that was the moment she got serious about considering plastic surgery. Plus, working in recovery with Dr. Nayak, she was always surrounded by patients coming out looking snatched and “looking better” than she did.

“Their necks are killer, and I’ve got this sagging skin,” she says of how she started to feel. She knew she needed to be mentally ready, though, and it wasn’t until very recently that she felt like she was.

While discussing the procedures she’d have done with Dr. Nayak, the two decided to do a rhinoplasty, which the plastic surgeon says Kelly was “plus or minus” about. As in, she didn’t have a problem with her original nose but decided to go ahead and tweak it while she was getting the rest of her face done. He says she gave him permission to give her a “cute nose,” so he did just that, opting to reshape the tip to be slightly upturned. Kelly says it’s the aspect of her face that gives her that “youthful” look. Plus, the nose is so good, Dr. Nayak has prospective patients asking him for the “Kelly” rhinoplasty when they book appointments.

Going under the knife with Dr. Nayak made the whole process infinitely more bearable, though, Kelly says. Not only did she have full confidence in her doctor, but she had full confidence in the entire team because she knows them and works with them every single day. Having also worked with patients in recovery, she’s walked through this process day in and day out for years. This has just given her a whole new perspective on it all.

“I had zero fear going into this at all,” she says. “It was just more exciting, and I couldn’t wait to get on that table and get me [knocked] out and get me to sleep. I was super excited.”

Kelly’s recovery has been seamless, which she says she has felt a little bit bad about, having seen some patients experience difficulties while she’s nursed them through. However, she and Dr. Nayak understand that everyone reacts differently to each procedure. She’s just been a lucky one.

“I can relate to [the patients] so much more now,” she says. “I think they relate to me too more because it’s like, ‘Oh, you’ve been through it. You know what I’m going through.’ So, it does help you understand.”

Kelly has been thrilled with her results, just shy of two months post-op. Her boyfriend of seven years told her he’d “support whatever” she wanted to do but didn’t think she needed plastic surgery in the first place. However, she says that once she healed, he understood her wanting a facial rejuvenation to feel better about herself.

As for her two children, who are in their 30s, Kelly says she thinks they think their mom’s new look is “cool,” they just don’t want to “act too excited.”

Kelly is one of many of Dr. Nayak’s employees who have gotten plastic surgery while in his employ. (They call it “Getting Nayaked.”) It’s one of the perks of working at the facility, as you do get the surgery at a reduced rate. The plastic surgeon transparently posts his prices online, but they can vary based on what patients end up getting done. Dr. Nayak currently has a waitlist of upwards of a year.
