Kitten Bowl Hallmark Channel Timelapse

News

The big day is almost here.

On Feb. 4, America’s most adorable animals are coming together to paw the pigskin and rile up the crowds. Among those cuddly contenders are the baby cats of Kitten Bowl, Hallmark Channel’s feline Super Bowl celebration.

While cat fanatics at home can tune in to the meowing match-up, full of dozens of adoptable kittens from North Shore Animal League America (NSALA), to see who claims the Feline Football League Championship, those in Minneapolis get a special treat.

Super Bowl LII’s host city will also be home to a re-creation of Hallmark Channel Stadium, the venue that is home to the Kitten Bowl. Along with getting a chance to watch the feline footballers play, visitors will also have the opportunity to chill with kitties at the Purr-king lot for tailgating and the Paws of Fame Trophy room.

All of the kitties, many of whom are from NSALA and local Minneapolis shelters, will be available for adoption, so you can provide a forever home to a gridiron star. These felines will hopefully join the 13,000 other pets who have found homes thanks to the Kitten Bowl and its adoption events.

For those who will be tuning into the Kitten Bowl from home, you can get a sneak peek at the work that goes into creating this purr-fect event in the clip above.

Don’t forget to tune in to Kitten Bowl V on Hallmark Channel on Feb. 4 at 12 p.m. EST or 3 p.m. EST.
