Blake Lively Shows Off Her Baking Skills with Raspberry Crumble

Blake Lively is cooking up something sweet!

The actress and baking enthusiast, 36, posted a photo on Sunday, July 28, of her homemade raspberry crumble which she revealed had been made with ingredients she found outdoors.

“… I made this raspberry crumble today with raspberries from the bushes … at least I think they were raspberries 😵‍💫☠️🫠,” Lively explained while sharing a shot of her dessert on her Instagram Stories. 

The crumble was snapped in a red bowl beside a larger plate containing a big slice of the tasty dish with bright red raspberries mixed with oats and raisins and dollops of fresh cream added on top.

Sticking to the theme of baking, Lively also posted a funny video of her It Ends with Us costars Brandon Sklenar and Alex Neustaedter attempting to make “hot chocolate chip cookies” — which she gave her review of afterward. 

“I’ve never laughed so hard in a kitchen than making this video,” Lively wrote in the caption. “We gave them no directions. Only ingredients. I would sooner invite rabid raccoons into my kitchen next time.”

“… These Atlas men are going to ruin my baking reputation. Please step in and show them how it’s done. PLEASE ♥️ Your move, lady… 🙏,” she added. 

Lively was brutally honest in her tasting review in the clip as she told her costars of their baked snack at the end, “The flavor’s not bad … the texture is vile.”

She added of her costars’ cooking skills on her Instagram Stories, “Ladies, be warned. When you see these two Atlas’ in @itendswithusmovie you’re going to want to bring back polyandry. But please watch this video first. They are charming as hell, but are skin-covered tornadoes in the kitchen. Save your vision board for Gordon Ramsay.”

Lively has previously shared her impressive baking skills in clips posted on her social media.

In September 2023, she posted a video on Instagram of herself teaming up with French pastry chef Cédric Grolet to make a decadent cake. Lively was filmed in the kitchen whipping up the cake mix and expertly cutting out round layers after baking and adding layers of berries and cream to finish.

Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds were also snapped visiting the set of The Great British Baking Show in June 2023, after becoming big fans of the baking series.

Judge of the show Paul Hollywood shared a photo on Instagram at the time of himself meeting Lively, while Reynolds, 47, also shared a photo of himself with Hollywood, 58, and his fellow judge Prue Leith.

“Sorry Prue, Blake (@blakelively) has taken your seat … welcome to cake corner Blake 😁#legendinthetent #getbaking,” Hollywood wrote in the caption to his post.
