The Big Bang Theory castmates Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons have reunited!

On Saturday, Nov. 23, Cuoco, 38, revealed that she and her former costar Parsons, 51, shared a sweet moment together when she paid the actor a visit at his Broadway production of Our Town in New York City.

“Go see Jim Parsons in @ourtownbroadway! It is beyond!” Cuoco wrote in an Instagram Stories post, alongside a photo of the pair hugging underneath a backstage staircase. “I surprised him 🥹.”

Cuoco also included a GIF that read: “Reunited.”

The Big Bang Theory ended its 12-season run in 2019. Since then, the stars of the show have remained friends, meeting up for casual reunions over the past several years and even making TV appearances together.

Fellow cast members Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch reunited on screen for season 3 of Night Court last month, and Bialik, 48, and Parsons both appeared in the series finale of Young Sheldon, which follows Parsons’ Big Bang Theory character Sheldon Cooper’s younger years growing up in Texas.

Although fans have asked the cast about a reboot since The Big Bang Theory ended its long run, Parsons revealed in October that he has no desire to revisit the show anytime soon.

“As we sit here now, no, but I also I would I never say never to anything, because life just changes so much,” the actor said during an episode of Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace. “You know, one of the things is that it was so special as what it was. And they call it lightning in a bottle for a reason, and you can be certain it wouldn’t be that.”

“And so why would we be doing it? I don’t know, that’s how I feel on that right now. But like I say, God willing, life is very long,” Parsons added.

Cuoco, meanwhile, teased in an interview with PEOPLE last month that she would “absolutely reprise that role.”

“100%,” she said of once again playing Sheldon’s quirky neighbor Penny. “I love that character, and I always will.”

“I spent 12 years playing that role, and it really set off my career. I owe a lot to that character, to that show, to Charlotte Phillipp Chuck Lorre,” Cuoco said. “It was some of the best years of my life, and some of the most fun I’ve ever had.”

In addition to Cuoco, Parsons and Bialik, the series starred Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar and Johnny Galecki. Young Sheldon — which concluded earlier this year — launched yet another Big Bang Theory spinoff titled Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which debuted on Oct. 17.
