For Jamie Chung, a low-maintenance beauty routine is a necessity.

The actress, who shares twin boys with her husband Bryan Greenberg, doesn’t have time for an “everything shower,” but she does shower twice a day — morning and night.

“It’s all about getting ready quickly,” Chung tells PEOPLE. “I will wash my hair the night before. That’s ready to go. Then I’ll just take a quick body shower [in the morning]. It wakes me up. Then [I shower] at the end of the day, at around 5 when you’re on your last nerve and you’re trying to hold it together because you want to lead by example and you want to be a good parent.”

The Grown Ups actress doesn’t have time to “put on lotions and oils,” so she relies on her in-shower products to do the heavy lifting. When a Mother’s Day campaign for Olay’s Super Serum Body Wash came into the picture, Chung was already a huge fan.

Jamie Chung for Olay.

Olay Body

“It’s a pretty iconic brand,” she says. “It’s trusted and it allows great products to be accessible to everyone. [The Olay Super Serum Body Wash] is perfect for moms. Being so busy, being on the go, you don’t have a lot of time for yourself. I feel like it’s a gentle reminder to take care of yourself, even if it’s just a quick shower refresh, not on just Mother’s Day, but every day.”

Inspired by Olay Super Serum, the new body wash is formulated with a blend of ingredients — including niacinamide as well as vitamins C and E — to deliver five visible benefits in one: hydrate, firm, smoothen, brighten and even skin.

To personalize your routine, it’s also available in different formulas for different skin types: normalextra dry, or rough and bumpy. While Chung prefers the normal version, she reaches for the extra dry one during the winter.

Chung is also a big fan of baths, though she doesn’t often have time for a luxurious soak. “I use the Super Serum Body Wash [in the bath],” she says. “I have this little book tray, so if I’m not reading a book or trying to read a script, I’ll listen to my podcasts.”

In her latest acting project, I’m Beginning to See the Light, Chung plays Sarah, the wife of a struggling jazz trumpeter and mom to a young daughter. Filming the movie — which hit streaming services on May 2 — allowed her to draw from her own experiences, both in childhood and as a mother herself.

“I always wondered why my mom was always so worried, but everything fell upon her shoulders because my dad was doing his own thing,” she recalls. “The worry of paying the bills, the worry of making sure that the kids are fed and bathed while also managing everyone’s schedules. I really pulled from that.”

“My character Sarah is very similar to her,” Chung continues. “She’s married to an artist and she wants him to continue to chase his dream, but there does come a time when you need the support from your partner as much as you supported that partner. There’s a balance. Just like motherhood, finding the balance of making sure you take care of yourself because you can’t give 100% percent of yourself if you’re not feeling 100%.”
