Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid have another sister!

On May 29, the supermodel sibling duo, who are the daughters of Mohamed Hadid and Yolanda Hadid, announced in a statement to the Daily Mail that they have a 23-year-old half-sister, Aydan Nix.

Nix was welcomed by her mother, Terri Hatfield Dull, after a brief relationship with Mohamed that came after his divorce from Yolanda. In their statement to the Daily Mail, Gigi and Bella shared that they connected with Nix in late 2023, and she has since spent time with them and Mohamed.

“We’ve cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family,” the statement read. “As siblings, we’ve had many open and loving conversations — with Aydan included — about how to support and protect her.”

She was born after Mohamed’s “brief romance” with Terri Hatfield Dull

In their statement to the Daily Mail, Gigi and Bella revealed that Nix was born after Mohamed’s “brief romance” with Dull.

The outlet reported that Mohamed and Dull had gone their separate ways by the time she found out she was pregnant with Nix, however he allegedly “always knew” about her.

His relationship with Dull also came after his divorce from Yolanda, who he was married to from 1994 to 2000.

Per Nix’s Instagram, she was born in September 2001.

Nix was raised in Florida

While Gigi and Bella grew up in California, Nix was born and raised in Florida, per the Daily Mail.

The sisters told the outlet that Nix grew up with “the man she lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19.”

According to her Instagram, Nix was raised alongside two other siblings.

As Gigi and Bella shared with the Daily Mail, Nix has since relocated to New York.

She graduated from Parsons School of Design

Nix graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York in May 2025, per her Instagram.

The Daily Mail reported that the recent graduate hopes to work in the fashion industry as a designer, stylist and influencer.

She frequently showcases her work on social media, from a “southern gothic” photoshoot to a project for her “styling class.”

Gigi and Bella have embraced Nix with “open arms”

Gigi and Bella told the Daily Mail they discovered their half-sibling after Nix took a “genetic test out of curiosity” following the death of her father, which revealed a “biological connection” to the Hadid family.

The supermodels and Nix first connected in late 2023, and have since welcomed her as part of their family.

“From that moment on, we’ve embraced Aydan with open arms,” they said in their statement to the Daily Mail.

Gigi and Bella have several other siblings, including brother Anwar Hadid, Mohamed and Yolanda’s youngest child. They also have two older half-sisters — Marielle and Alana Hadid — who Mohamed welcomed with his first wife, Mary Butler.

Nix’s mom is her “best friend” and “role model”

Nix appears to have a close relationship with her mom, who she often refers to as her “best friend” and “role model” on social media.

In February 2020, Nix shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute for Dull’s birthday, writing, “feel blessed to even know her, let alone have her as my momma.”

That July, she shared that she felt “lucky” to have a mom that doubles as her “best friend.”
